What the Azeroth Pathfinder achievement actually covers

The Azeroth Pathfinder title is the reward for finishing both parts of the Battle for Azeroth flying achievement chain. The page above lists Part One, which is the step that grants the 20% mount speed bonus on Kul Tiras and Zandalar. Part Two is the one that lets you fly there.

Part Two asks for the Part One achievement, plus Exalted with the Honorbound or Seventh Legion and a few more reputations depending on your faction. It also needs the Unlocking Mechagon and Nazjatar content in the later patches. Plan for roughly 40 to 60 hours if you do everything by hand.

WoW Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder: what you need before flying

Part One is the gate, so start there. Reaching Revered with every BFA faction takes the bulk of the time, often 25 to 35 hours across two continents. Dailies, world quests and the war campaign all feed into it.

Some players skip the grind with Battle for Azeroth boosts that finish this first stage in one go. Others prefer to do the war campaign themselves and only hand off the slowest parts, such as a Freehold leveling boost for the early levels or a BFA island expeditions boost for the unlock step.

Requirements at a glance

Character at level 120 (or scaled to match the old cap)
Part One completed, with every faction at Revered
War campaign finished for your side
Warfront and island expedition access

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Azeroth Pathfinder worth doing in 2026?

Yes, if you want faster travel in BFA zones and the achievement points. The speed bonus saves real time when you farm old mounts, rares and transmog there.

Can I fly in Battle for Azeroth without Part Two?

No. Part One only gives the mount speed bonus. Flying needs Part Two, which adds extra reputation and zone content on top.

Does Part One carry across characters?

The achievement is account wide, so you only complete it once. Reputation progress also shares across your characters through the warband system, which cuts the work on alts.

Do I need allied race access for it?

No, but a BFA allied races access boost can help if you want those races unlocked at the same time. It runs alongside the main chain rather than replacing any step.
