SHORT DESCRIPTION:
WoW Nightfallen Rep: How the Grind Works
Getting Nightfallen rep means working through Suramar, the large Legion zone on the Broken Isles. The faction sits behind a long questline, so you cannot simply walk in and start farming. You need to finish the opening Suramar story first, which takes around 3 to 5 hours for a first character.
Once the Nightborne city opens to you, the faction becomes much easier to push. Most of the gain comes from daily-style activities, world quests and a few repeatable turn-ins.
Nightfallen Rep Quests
The Suramar campaign gives the first big chunk of reputation. Each chapter ends with a quest that pays between 250 and 500 reputation, and the full chain gets you well into Honored.
After that, the Nightfallen world quests take over. They show up across Suramar, usually pay 250 reputation each, and often come with a bonus from active emissary quests.
- Suramar campaign chapters, early and mid reputation
- Nightfallen world quests, steady gains of 250 each
- Withered Army Training scenario and Nightfall quests, extra bursts
- Ancient mana turn-ins, a small but regular supplement
Fastest Way to Get Revered With Nightfallen
Speed comes from stacking sources on the same day. Pick up every available Nightfallen world quest, run the emissary if Suramar is featured, and chain the campaign quests while you are in the zone.
A focused player can reach Revered in roughly 6 to 10 days of casual play. Push harder and you can shave that to 3 or 4 days. Revered needs 21,000 reputation past Friendly, and Exalted adds another 21,000 or so on top.
Tabards and bonuses
Any reputation boost buff helps here. Heirloom items and guild perks that add 10 percent are worth wearing. They add up over a long grind.
Dungeons That Give Nightfallen Rep
Two dungeons tie into this faction: Court of Stars and The Arcway. Both are Legion dungeons set in or near Suramar, and both need Nightfallen reputation to enter on higher difficulties, as noted above.
Running them gives a small trickle of rep, usually around 150 to 250 per clear on Mythic. It is not the fastest route, but it pairs well with gear farming. If you want a refresher on the format, the Mythic Plus dungeons guide covers affixes and keys in detail.
Buy Nightfallen Rep
You cannot buy reputation from a vendor in game. Blizzard has no item that grants it directly. Players who want to skip the grind usually turn to third-party carry services, which have an account owner log in or a team run content with you. Prices vary a lot, so treat any figure you see as a rough estimate and check the terms carefully.
If your goal is a wider Legion catch-up, Battle for Azeroth boosts and similar services are a separate topic. For flying, the Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder boost is a different achievement chain and does not replace Broken Isles Pathfinder.
Once you have finished the Nightfallen reputation grind, a Chosen title boost is a practical next goal.
Frequently Asked Questions
How to gain reputation with the Nightfallen?
Finish the Suramar campaign, then do Nightfallen world quests every day. Add the emissary quest when Suramar is featured. Dungeon runs in Court of Stars and The Arcway add a smaller amount.
What quests give Nightfallen rep?
The Suramar story chapters pay 250 to 500 each, and Nightfallen world quests pay about 250. Scenario rewards and ancient mana turn-ins give small extras on top.
Can you buy Nightfallen rep?
Not in the game itself. There is no vendor item for it. Some players hire carry help from outside services, but you should weigh the account risk before doing so.
Is Exalted worth the effort?
Yes, if you want the profession recipes, pets, toys and the Broken Isles Pathfinder progress. Revered alone unlocks a lot, but the best rewards need Exalted.
