There's one limitation with common Battle for Azeroth loot system in which only items with lower item level than the ones player already has in the same item slot can be traded.370) and will be able to trade you 99.9%of items they get. The only exceptions are Titanforged items of very high item level increase and Azerite Armor pieces (head, shoulders and chest items)
Uldir item level requirement for Normal
The Uldir item level requirement for Normal difficulty is low. Blizzard set the entry bar at item level 300 through the Group Finder, and you can queue for it as soon as your character is level 120.
Getting in is easy. Surviving the later fights is a different matter, so the number most players really care about sits higher.
Recommended ilvl for Normal Uldir
For a comfortable clear, aim for an average item level of about 340 to 350. At that range the first four bosses fall quickly, and the damage checks on Zul and G'huun stop being scary.
Below 320 you can still win, but expect extra wipes on Mother and Zek'voz, where raid damage and mechanics punish low health pools. Tanks should be a little higher than the rest, around 335 at minimum.
- 300: minimum to queue
- 320 to 335: workable with a coordinated group
- 340 to 350: comfortable for most fights
- 370 and above: boss kills become close to a formality
What ilvl do you get from the raid?
Normal Uldir drops gear around item level 370 before Titanforging. Warforged pieces can land noticeably higher, and a lucky roll may add 10 to 15 levels on a single slot.
If Normal feels too easy once you pass 370, the next step is Heroic. Our wow uldir page covers what changes there, and the mythic uldir run page explains the jump in difficulty for the top tier. Players building a full set for that level can also look at mythic uldir gear.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I enter Normal Uldir at item level 300?
Yes, 300 is enough to queue. Most groups will still ask for 330 or more, so expect some declined applications in the listing tool.
Does Azerite gear count toward the requirement?
It does. Azerite armor adds to your equipped average item level like any other piece, so your head, shoulders and chest matter as much as the rest.
How long does a full Normal clear take?
A prepared group finishes all eight bosses in roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. A first-time group with mixed gear often needs 3 hours or more.
Is level 120 mandatory?
Yes. Uldir is a Battle for Azeroth raid, so your character must be level 120 before the instance will accept you.
