There's one limitation with common Battle for Azeroth loot system in which only items with lower item level than the ones player already has in the same item slot can be traded.370) and will be able to trade you 99.9%of items they get. The only exceptions are Titanforged items of very high item level increase and Azerite Armor pieces (head, shoulders and chest items)
WoW Uldir on Heroic: what the raid is and who it suits
Uldir is the first raid of Battle for Azeroth, patch 8.0, and it sits in Nazmir under the Titan facility of the same name. Eight bosses, three wings, and a finale against G'huun, the blood god. On Heroic, the whole thing takes a prepared group about 2.5 to 3 hours.
Today the instance is far below the level cap content, so a level 120 character with decent gear can clear it without much trouble. Mechanics still matter on a few fights, but the raw damage check is gone.
Recommended ilvl for Heroic Uldir
When the raid launched, groups wanted around 340 to 350 to start Heroic safely, and 370 was the comfortable level for the later bosses. Those numbers are the ones people still search for.
In 2026 you can enter well under that and still finish. Gear scaling and talent changes carry weaker characters. If you are running solo with a boost group, an item level near 300 is plenty for an experienced carry team.
- Entry with a group: about 310 or higher
- Comfortable clears: about 340 or higher
- Old launch recommendation for G'huun: about 370
Wow Uldir Heroic ilvl of the loot
Heroic drops start at item level 370 and can Warforge or Titanforge above that, sometimes into the 390s. Normal drops sit about 15 levels lower. That gap is why players who already have mid-level gear pick Heroic first.
If you want the top end of the raid, Uldir Mythic run boost covers the 385 base drops. Players who need an easier starting point can look at the Uldir normal run boost instead.
Loot in Uldir and Heroic drops by boss
Each boss drops a mix of armor, a few weapons and trinkets. Personal loot decides what you roll, so nothing is guaranteed. Expect around 1 to 2 items per boss per player on average across a clear.
- Taloc and MOTHER: first armor pieces and early rings
- Fetid Devourer and Zek'voz: cloaks, trinkets and some weapons
- Vectis and Zul: the strongest trinket options in the early part of the raid
- Mythrax and G'huun: top Heroic pieces, plus the G'huun-only items
Azerite armor from head, shoulder and chest slots drops here too. Those traits were a big deal in BFA, and a few of them still shape builds for players who enjoy older content.
Halls of Containment and the other wings
Many searchers type the wing name as "wow halls of containment". It is the first wing, with Taloc, MOTHER and Fetid Devourer. It also names the achievement in the list above, which asks you to defeat the three bosses of that wing.
The second wing, Crimson Descent, holds Zek'voz, Vectis and Zul. The last wing, Heart of Corruption, ends with Mythrax and G'huun. Each wing can be done on a different day if you prefer shorter sessions, since the lockout stays until the weekly reset.
Wow BFA Uldir Heroic and the achievements that come with it
The Heroic clear gives you Ahead of the Curve: G'huun, a title-style badge of the era that many players still want on their profile. For a longer list of goals, Glory of the Uldir raider collects the extra mechanics achievements and rewards the Reptile mount known as the Wriggling Parasite.
Those extras need specific play on certain fights, which is why people often take a separate run for them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Uldir Heroic hard in 2026?
No. Most of the fights are tuned for 2018 characters, so a current level 120 with average gear survives most mechanics. Zul and G'huun still punish repeated mistakes, but the numbers are not demanding.
Can I get Heroic drops more than once a week?
No. The raid lockout resets weekly, and each boss can only be killed once for loot per lockout. You get one personal loot roll per boss, per week.
Is Uldir Heroic worth running for gear today?
It helps only a character that is still in the low to mid 300s. If you are already above 370 the drops will rarely upgrade anything. Many players come for the achievements, transmog and the mount instead.
Does the Mythic version drop better gear?
Yes. Mythic items start at 385 and can Titanforge higher. If you want complete sets, Uldir Mythic full gear is the route players usually look at after Heroic.
