Uldir Halls of Control is a construction created by the Titans in prehistoric times in order to study Old Gods and to raise the monster that will destroy Old Gods´ tentacles. To fight with evil itself you need equally big evil but sometimes things go totally wrong… There was a huge monster created, later known as G´huun, the last boss of Uldir BFA raid. When Titans saw G´huun, the Blood God as Blood trolls call him, they got terrified and locked G´huun under the protection of three seals.G'huun Heroic drops 370+ item level loot (up to 390 Titanforged).

WoW G'huun Fight: How the Encounter Works

The wow g'huun fight is the final boss of Uldir and runs in three phases, with a short transition between each. Expect roughly 6 to 8 minutes on Heroic for a well-geared group.

In phase one, you kill Matrix Surgeons and collect Power Matrix buffs while the boss stays untouchable. Phase two brings Blood Feast and Explosive Corruption, so spreading out matters. Phase three is a pure damage race against Collapsing World and Reorigination Blast, and raid cooldowns need saving for it.

G'huun Fight Tips From Fatboss and Other Guides

Videos from Fatboss and similar channels all agree on one point: the Gift of G'huun orbs decide most wipes. Pop them fast, or the raid takes ramping damage. Healers should hold at least one major cooldown for each Blood Feast.

  • Assign two players to handle Dark Bargain duty in phase two.
  • Keep ranged players 8 yards apart during Explosive Corruption.
  • Save Bloodlust for phase three, not the pull.
  • Use external defensives on whoever carries the Blood Host debuff.

Ahead of the Curve G'huun Mount and Rewards

Ahead of the Curve: G'huun is a Feat of Strength you earn by defeating him on Heroic before the next tier opens. It carries no mount. The mount people confuse it with is Cutting Edge related, and that one needs a Mythic kill, so check g huun Mythic details if a mount is your goal.

Heroic itself drops from the Uldir loot table, and anyone planning gear upgrades should compare the raid uldir ilvl ranges from Normal against Heroic first.

WoW Bad Luck Protection in Battle for Azeroth

Battle for Azeroth has no true bad luck protection on raid bosses. Each kill rolls loot independently, so a character can leave empty-handed several weeks running. Extra rolls, such as bonus rolls from Seals of Wartorn Fate, are the only softener, and each seal gives one extra roll per boss.

Can I get Ahead of the Curve on Normal?

How many attempts does a typical group need?

Organized groups often need 3 to 10 pulls to learn phase two. Overgeared groups may finish in one or two.
