Uldir Halls of Control is a construction created by the Titans in prehistoric times in order to study Old Gods and to raise the monster that will destroy Old Gods´ tentacles. To fight with evil itself you need equally big evil but sometimes things go totally wrong… There was a huge monster created, later known as G´huun, the last boss of Uldir BFA raid. When Titans saw G´huun, the Blood God as Blood trolls call him, they got terrified and locked G´huun under the protection of three seals.G'huun Heroic drops 370+ item level loot (up to 390 Titanforged).

Raid Uldir ilvl: what to expect from G'huun Normal

Uldir drops loot between 355 and 390 item level on Normal, and G'huun sits at the top of that range. If you search for the raid Uldir ilvl before a run, the practical answer is simple: a character around 340 to 350 item level can clear Normal without trouble, and anything above 360 makes the final fight feel relaxed.

Normal is tuned for a flexible group of 10 to 30 players. The raid scales automatically, so a smaller group does not face a harder boss.

How the G'huun fight plays out

The encounter has three phases, and the third is where most wipes happen. Early on, the group handles Blood Feast and the orbs that spawn around the room. Then comes the Matrix phase, where players enter the Gift of G'huun area and drag Dark Matter into position.

Phase three is a long damage race against Collapsing World and Torment. A full clear of Uldir on Normal takes roughly 2 to 3 hours with an organized group, and G'huun alone is usually around 20 to 30 minutes of that.

Stepping up to harder versions

Once your gear is closer to 380, the next logical test is wow g huun on Heroic, where the same mechanics hit harder and the loot floor rises. Players chasing the best Titanforged pieces and the rare mount drop usually end up at g huun on Mythic, which demands tight cooldown planning.

If you want another Battle for Azeroth boss at a similar level, the Jaina Proudmoore raid boss in Battle of Dazar'alor is the usual next stop for Azerite gear.

Frequently Asked Questions

What item level do I need for Uldir Normal?

Most groups ask for at least 340. Players below that can still enter, but they may struggle with damage checks in the last phase.

Can I reuse the lockout every week?

Raid lockouts reset weekly, so you can kill G'huun once per difficulty each week. Switching difficulty does not give you a second loot roll on the same one.

Does G'huun Normal drop the mount?

No. The mount is tied to the Mythic version of the fight, and the drop chance there is low, around 1 percent per kill.

Is Azerite from this boss useful at level 120?

Yes. It speeds up Heart of Azeroth levels, which unlock more Azerite trait rows on your armor.
