Buy Mythic Antorus: What a Mythic Run Actually Involves

Anyone looking to buy Mythic Antorus is really asking how a carried raid works in practice. The listing above covers the rewards. Here is the part about how the clear plays out and what to expect on the day.

A Mythic Antorus run is a 20-player raid led by a team that already has the fights on farm. You join on your level 110 character, take your spot in the group and follow the calls. Most clears of 5, 7 or 9 bosses finish in roughly 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the package and how many wipes the pulls need.

The loot is traded to you after each kill. That matters for gear planning, so check your equipped item levels before you queue up.

Antorus Mythic Run: Boss Order and Pace

The raid has four wings and 11 bosses. The first wing, Light's Breach, holds Garothi Worldbreaker, Felhounds of Sargeras and Antoran High Command. Next come Forbidden Descent (Portal Keeper Hasabel, Eonar the Life-Binder, Imonar the Soulhunter, Kin'garoth), then Hope's End (Varimathras, The Coven of Shivarra) and finally Seat of the Pantheon (Aggramar and Argus the Unmaker).

A 5-boss package stops after Antoran High Command and Portal Keeper Hasabel, with Eonar and Imonar often rounding it out. The 9-boss version gets you to Aggramar. Argus, the last fight, is only reached on a full clear of all 11.

Mythic Antorus is the same raid as the one in the title of this page, just at the hardest difficulty. Normal and Heroic share the layout but drop lower gear.

Mythic Antorus Run Item Level and Antorus ILvl Requirements

Mythic Antorus drops 960+ item level gear, with Titanforged pieces going up to 985. Pieces rolled for your spec come in at the levels listed in the rewards above. Heroic loot sits lower, so the jump is clear if you are coming from that difficulty.

For the Antorus ilvl needed to join a self-run group, most guilds ask for about 940 to 950 on a 110 for Mythic. A carried run has no such gate, since the team handles the fights.

If you only want a slice of the gear and not the full set, the Antorus mythic full gear page and the Antorus mythic loot run US page describe the other formats and the US realm version. Players who prefer a lower difficulty can look at Antorus heroic loot trade run.

Ahead of the Curve: Argus the Unmaker Achievement ID

The Ahead of the Curve: Argus the Unmaker achievement uses ID 12110, and Cutting Edge: Argus the Unmaker uses ID 12111. Both are Feats of Strength, so they give no points and only show on your profile.

Ahead of the Curve requires killing Argus on Heroic or higher. Cutting Edge requires doing it on Mythic before the next tier of content opens. Since that window closed long ago, a carry is now the realistic path to the Mythic one, depending on the listing.

Antorus the Burning Throne Bosses: Who Drops What

Each boss drops gear for specific slots, and the final fights carry the highest odds of Legion Legendaries and the Antoran Charhound mount. Argus is the main source of the Tier 21 set tokens, along with Aggramar and the Coven of Shivarra. The Charhound comes from a chance drop off Varimathras on the way down.

Keep in mind that loot is shared across the 20 players in the raid, so a package with extra loot rolls (X3, X5 or X7) improves your odds of an upgrade.

Where Is Antorus the Burning Throne and How to Get There

The raid sits on Argus, the broken Legion world, in the zone called Antoran Wastes. You reach it through the Vindicaar, a flying ship, after finishing the Argus campaign storyline.

The entrance is an instance portal at the northern end of the Antoran Wastes. Expect to spend about 20 minutes on the questline before the portal opens, and a few more minutes flying to it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to get to Antorus?

Reach level 110 and start the Legion Argus campaign by speaking to the war table quest in your class hall. Finish the three zones of Argus, then fly to the Antoran Wastes on the Vindicaar. The raid portal is there.

How to get to Antorus the Burning Throne if I skipped the Argus story?

You cannot skip it. The campaign unlocks the Vindicaar and the zone access you need. It takes around 3 to 5 hours on a fresh character, less if your account has done it before.

Where is Antorus the Burning Throne located?

It is on Argus, in the Antoran Wastes, in the northern part of the zone. You enter through a portal rather than a normal dungeon door.

Can I enter Antorus on Mythic difficulty right away?

Yes, once you are level 110 and have access to the raid. Mythic uses a weekly lockout, so you get one clear per week on a given character.
